In case you missed my post, it was my first time to watch Clara Benin perform live…
and it was so exhilarating that I got to attend her major concert to celebrate the release of her second studio album.
befriending my tears is Clara’s journey as an artist coming to terms with self-acceptance and healing while showcasing musical maturity through years of experience and growth – one that I kept playing for almost a month now.
On the other hand, Ena Mori bursts with stage presence and personality – the talent of these girls!
At 9:30 PM, Clara finally made her entrance with darling, I’ve been there – WE WERE IN TEARS!
She also played some of her original songs with her father, Joey Benin, Side A’s bassist, singer, and musical arranger. We were in awe during the performance of Tila which is Clara’s reimagined version of the hit song.
My favorite song of the night was blink, it’s my favorite from the album and I just love how she walked into the audience area during the act.
Super grateful to my boyfriend (and your tito!) Zeus, for taking me to this event.
He watched Clara many times on her gigs before – I think he became an avid listener ever since Riverchild. MAJOR FLEX.
IT WAS AN AMAZING, SOLD-OUT SHOW AND WE’LL DEFINITELY BUY TICKETS FOR HER NEXT CONCERT.
Congratulations, Clara Benin!
